The Beta TX is a laser diode module with the highest modulation frequency available from Global Laser Solutions LTD. The high-speed electronics on board the Beta TX allows you to transmit high fidelity data in free-space. This is due to its exceptionally high bandwidth of up to 50MHz. The receiver of your signal can then accurately reproduce audio, video, or data information.
The Beta TX also allows you to perform time-of-flight (TOF) imaging and detection tasks with greater precision. A laser beam modulated at high speed generates a dense point cloud in TOF sensing systems. You can then image finer details and detect smaller objects.
Two versions of Beta TX are available: Beta TX and Beta TX High Speed (HS). Both versions can achieve a bandwidth of 50MHz in the frequency range 100Hz – 100MHz, where the frequencies at which -3dB signal levels occur depend on the chosen laser diode. For enhanced speed, a TX HS fitted with an appropriate laser diode can exceed a modulation frequency of 100MHz.
